CONNECTED by MURKANI x DAISY HILL

Kindred

A symbol of harmony that gives us a sense of belonging. A reminder there is nothing more important than those who surround us. Connected as a community and united as one, together we are stronger. The yarning circle and it’s U shape designs symbolise people sitting together. This circle is one of friendship - it never ends.

MURKANI JEWELLERY

MURKANI started in 2013 by Australian designer Kiralee McNamara with a few hand drawn sketches. Having worked in the corporate world for many years, it was Kiralee’s dream to create her own everyday luxe jewellery range and MURKANI Jewellery is the result of that. MURKANI Jewellery is handcrafted, contemporary jewellery with a bohemian aesthetic. Designed to be mixed, matched and layered. Designs are inspired by symbolism and pattern in ancient architecture, art and travel. Drawn by repetitive patterns found in locations such as Morocco, Turkey and India, most pieces feature decorative elements combined with a hammered, organic finish.

Please note: The symbols and meanings shared are unique to Daisy Hill and do not represent all First Nations people. All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural groups have different perspectives, interpretations and understandings of the stories and knowledge. They are the oldest known civilisation on Earth and their knowledge has been passed between generations for over 75,000 years.
