This artwork represents the golden soil and rich vegetation that covers the land. Over the rocks, beneath the sand dunes are sea flowers, turtles, pippies, seashells and crab holes. The ripples across the water span for eternity, just like our knowledge. The circle patterns represent everyone in our community and our connections to each other. The large meeting place surrounded by U shapes symbolises us coming together to yarn and share stories. The footprints are symbolic of our journey and the impressions we leave behind, not only on this land but in each other's hearts.
